(Fostered in Big Lake, MN)
Penny arrived at her forever home early Sunday morning after a long trip from a North Dakota puppy mill. At 8 weeks old, she is a bundle of energy. Penny visited the vet today and weighed in at 13 lbs. We fostered her with the intention of adoption and already she has stolen our hearts.
Wilson, who was adopted from RAGOM only a year ago, simply adores her. We have seen such a change in him since we brought Penny home. It's so cute to see this big 100-lb. Golden laying outside her kennel as though he is protecting her. Penny is totally exhausted at night after all her daily excitement. We welcome this sweetheart to our home.
We are being entertained by this little bundle of fur. She's continually active . . .pouncing, chasing her tail, chewing or picking on the resident dogs. She is quite vocal when she's in her crate and wants to come out for play time. Thankfully, she's young enough that she'll not remember her previous life.
I'm so excited!! My foster Mom & Dad want this to be my forever home. I just love to play with all the toys. Today I even got to go to another room and there were MORE toys there!! I didn't know which one to chew up first! I don't think I made any points with my Mom & Dad. But I'm just a baby. . .I can make mistakes. I like to tease my foster brother, Wilson and my foster sisters Mandy and Jessie. Wilson lets me lay on his back and he plays with me. Mandy thinks I'm a pest and wants me to leave her alone. Jessie is like a Mom to me. I like to take her toys but , then , she likes to take mine. So that makes it okay. At the end of the day, I'm pretty tired and ready to go to bed. Life is great!!
