Rudy is a beautiful 3 year old PB golden. Rudy made the journey north to Minnesota from Iowa. He came to RAGOM because someone in the home had allergies. He was very loved and it shows in his sunny disposition. He is a light color Golden with blond tail and belly/chest. Rudy is a smart guy who has had some obedience training. He knows sit and come. He needs training with walking on a leash as he pulls and zig zags better than a Singer sewing machine. He is housebroken with no accidents in the house. Rudy is up to date with all his shots.
He loves the water and will dive into the water after a ball. If he could eat and hold a ball in his mouth at the same time he would be in seventh/heaven. He is a strong runner and would make a great jogging pal. He is at a good weight – lean and strong. He loves to wrestle with his fur-brothers. There has been no aggression with toys or food.
He respects the older American Eskimo that he currently lives with. He does not play rough with her. He is a smoocher and steals kisses from the other dogs. He loves to cuddle and snuggle. He does like to be the center of attention with humans. That is pretty typical behavior of Goldens. He wants to be front and center with pets and your attention.
Rudy does beg at the table, so he needs work on that. He might have been given table scrapes and can’t figure out why I am holding out on him. Too bad Rudy – no people food for you at my house. I have not seen him counter surf – but I would suggest he be watched as he is very persistent about begging.
Rudy will be at Petco on November 1st – please come out and see this lovely beauty.
Yes, Rudy has been adopted by Eric, Sue, Danielle and Matt and resident Golden Lizzie! Congratulations to Rudy and his new family!!
From Rudy's forever family...
We adopted Rudy on November 15, 2008. When we first got Rudy he was not very social and would spend most of his time in his kennel. It was rare for him to spend any time with us unless we bribed him with food. We started fostering for RAGOM a couple months ago and have seen big changes in Rudy. He now loves to be with us. He has free roam of the house. He is actually sharing toys now instead of hoarding them all in his kennel. He loves to play with tennis balls. He is definitely part of the family!
