Welcome to RAGOM, Hayden! We will make sure that we find the very best "furever" home for you. Hayden is 5 1/2 months old and about 52 pounds. He came to us very scared and smelly but after a few baths, he settled right in. He loves our children (4 and 7) and met our resident dog, Andy (RAGOM rescued) just fine. We sense he misses his 7 siblings alot. The more time he spends with us the more his playful personality shines though. We will write more as time goes on.

Foster Mom said I could do my own update today because foster Grandma is here from Denver. I am learning lots of new stuff. I follow Andy (resident dog) around like a shadow. Foster mom can't believe how I have changed in 36 hours. I have gone from being scared to outgoing. I love to carry toys around in my mouth and just show people how important I am. Foster Dad calls me "Checkers" because I always check on my family to make sure they are not too far away. FM mentioned something about a neuter soon. What's that? I'll let you know when I find out! I asked Andy but he just crossed his legs. Maybe he had to go out! I plan to attend the Roseville event on Saturday if you would like to see me!
If you would like to meet me just let placement know- placement@ragom.org
Boy, Hayden looks so serious on his picture! He can be, but most of the time he is such a silly dog. When he goes outside with Andy, he grabs Andy's collar and leads him around the yard. Andy just lets him do it. He is a toy piggy though! He hoards all the toys he can. Maybe that comes from living with a pig for the first five months of his life.
Hayden loves everyone! Foster Dad is a favorite because he gets all playful with him. Our four year-old is a favorite because he always smells like fun fruits. Our daughter (7) is a favorite because she will lay with him and cuddle.
As we get to know Hayden, he is a Golden through-out. He has GIANT paws! His reddish color is outstanding and his fur is as soft as silk. He is still very much a puppy. We are working on potty training and not jumping up on people. He is a trooper. We will be at the Roseville event this Saturday if you would like to see for yourself just how awesome Hayden is.
Tomorrow Hayden will be neutered. :) He will be ready for his "furever" home soon! Are you ready for the best puppy ever?
Well, Hayden now knows what neuter means. He went through the surgery and is recovering well. Even with stitches, he is finding out how much fun counter-surfing is. Foster Grandma made orange cookies and apple pie today. Needless to say, we are minus an orange cookie cooling on the counter. Mmm... We will work on that! Hayden doesn't mind his kennel. It's not top on his list but will go in at night, cross his paws in prayer and begin dreaming of the perfect "furever" home. As you can see by the pictures, Hayden enjoys playing with our Andy. Hayden is on the right in the pictures. We hope to see you at our Roseville event. But if you just can't wait to meet Hayden and would like to see him sooner please email placement. placement@ragom.org
Hi everyone!
I know if you have read many updates on the other dogs, you know that they all brag about how wonderful each dog is. Well, let me tell you I am not going to sound any different. Hayden has been with us for about two weeks now and he has just transitioned his way right into our family.
He learned how to jump up onto the furniture and here at our house, it's ok! He loves to snuggle right in with whoever is lounging at the time. He is potty-training and learning his name very well, also. We are getting into a routine and that's what he needs. He is really a good boy on the leash and loves to stay right by your side. We took him to the dog park today. He loved it! As you can see by the picture, he was one tuckered out little man when we got home.
We plan to be at the RAGOM event this weekend and hope to see you there. If you would like to meet Hayden sooner let placement know! placement@ragom.org

These pictures capture the "true" Hayden. Up with all the toys just hanging out. We pushed the ottoman up next to the couch so that he can have many toys up with him and not fall off the couch. The second picture is our Andy just waiting for Hayden to make a move to play. Hope to see you at the RAGOM event this weekend!

It's Hayden here... Guess what? I am starting to pack my handkerchief and stick! I am going to my forever home! I am being welcomed into a home with two parents that will give me lots of love and a fursister that is going to show me the ropes. I want to thank all the people who visited me at the RAGOM events and ask them to continue to search for their "pawfect" companion. I know I will be missed alot at my foster home because FM is already sobbing every time she begins to think of watching me go away. I will write more in a bit because I am not going away for awhile. Gotta go see what kind of trouble I can get into....
Hayden is the luckiest dog in the world! He went home with the S family today! We will all miss him and told his family to keep in contact. Take care sweet boy, you are the best!
Hi Everyone,
It's just me, Hayden, checking in. I went to live with my furever family on Saturday. I am really happy. They have a big fenced in yard, and I love to be outside exploring and playing with my new fursister. She is great, and her and I love to wrestle and run around together.
My new mom and dad really are going to take care of me well. They have already taking me for a bunch of long walks, and spent the entire weekend with me; except for bedtime, where I got to sleep in my brand new kennel right next to my fursister. The first night, I cried a tiny bit, but then realized that I was in a good home, and would be safe here. I cuddled with my new dad on the couch lots too. That was very comfy. I have lots of toys too. Me and fursis keep playing keep away. I am really happy that I came here.
Thanks for RAGOM and my FM (Dawn) and her family, who really took care of me and helped me find a perfect new home. I miss my foster family lots, but I know they are happy that I have been adopted by really great new parents. My new parents said I could go visit them too. So that will be good.
Well, have to go outside and play some more. I'll keep in touch.
Hayden
P.S. See the pics of me and fursis, and with me and my new Dad having a cuddle!
