“Grizz welcomes Pearl to the Golden life she deserves!”
|This dog came into RAGOM from a commercial breeder and has not been adequately socialized to humans. RAGOM requires that any adoptive homes contain a physical fence (due to the risk of escape); another fairly confident medium to large sized dog to role model from (everything is new and scary for them); no children under 10 years old in the home (normal kid behavior scares these dogs). Our goal is to find the forever family for these dogs and our experience leads us to use these criteria.|

Hello my saviors! First a thank-you to everyone who helped me on my LONG trip from Missouri! Since there were SO many of us, as you're reading through our stories and following our journeys of hope, won't you consider
- Outside is FUN! I've ONLY gone potty outside and love it! I find these things called toys ALL OVER in the grass! I LOVE ropes and tennis balls! When I pick them up I run around so my beautiful blonde hair waves in the wind!
- The couch and bed are WAY, WAY, WAY (did I mention WAY) more comfortable than my kennel! I am getting used to being so close to my humans this way and I kinda like that!
Hello everyone! It's been a long time since I've checked in, so I thought I'd tell you about some of my adventures! ;)
First, a HUGE shout out to my buddy Grizz and his mom! I am SO greatful (as are FM and FD) for such wonderful supporters! They've always been instrumental to FM and FD through the years! SO THANK YOU A MILLION!
Second, as you can see in the pictures, I LOVE LOVE LOVE being outside. FM thinks it's because of two reasons: 1. I'm not in such close proximity to humans and 2. Just the general freedom to run about and play! I really just like how the wind blows through my golden locks! The neighbor even said I'm starting to "fill out" becoming a nice dog!
I can also go in and out through the doorway MUCH better! One day I even beat my foster sister inside! I often beat her outside, but some times I'm too fast, even without knowing it and I run into the door. Whoops...
And I absolutely LOVE sleeping on the bed at night! I get so comfy I like to stretch and roll around my back...but I've been jolted from my slumber by slamming onto the ground...I guess learning how to live the GOLDEN life will come with trials and tribulations even in the most serene moments :)
I'm recovering well from my spay surgery too! I came into RAGOM at just 34 pounds and now I'm up to 38! I heard FM and FD talking about looking and feeling more healthy around 45-50 pounds. And speaking of feeling more healthy, FM is making me include a picture of the GUNK they finally cleared out of my ears while I was asleep! Talk about DIS-GUST-ING! I'm glad I finally am learning about the GReat life!
I'm really progressing well and will make someone just the SWEETEST companion!
Wow! What a wonderful day! Pearl has started her LONG journey to her FOREVER HOME in Iowa!
Congratulations sweet girl! You are going to make a WONDERFUL new family member!!!
