Didi is a 3 year old female rescued from a puppy mill. She was no longer useful to them because her litters were too big and made too much work for her breeder. RAGOM was called to rescue Didi and 2 of her mill-mates, who will now have a chance to live long lives as happy, warm, well fed, & loved members of some very lucky families. Didi is 62 pounds & on the petite side. She just got all her shots & microchip, and will be spayed on Tuesday. I heard stories about dogs that come from puppy mills, and luckily, Didi fits none of them. She is very outgoing & friendly, she loves to play with toys & bones, she is very gentle with my children (ages 3, 5, 8) and gets along well with the dogs here. She walks well in a harness & wasn't too fond of the Gentle Leader we tried (but what dog is at first?). Didi seems to enjoy stealing stuffed animals from the kids and hiding them in her kennel. I have a favorite poem and it goes, "Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure." Didi is indeed a treasure!
