9/1/05: Jack is being fostered in Johnston, Iowa and we LOVE him. Let me tell you a little about this funny, sweet, hilarious boy. Crack Jack (as we like to call him) is a 71 pound, blonde full Golden Retriever. He is UTD, neutered and healthy as a horse! Right now we are working through some itching but it looks like a vegetarian diet has stopped the scratching. The vet and her staff fell in love with him! Who wouldn't! The neighbors all know Jack and they bring their dogs to our yard (doggy day care) to romp. Jack is very accepting of "others" as long as they are not cats or Guniea pigs. We have a Guinea Pig and he spends time watching over the cage but not hurting it in any way. We haven't seen him with a cat but my feeling is that he would terrorize the cat!

On to Jack's antics! He loves bras! In fact he will hunt down any bra and bring it to anyone who will pay attention to him. He doesn't chew anything, including the bras! He has a hilarious sense of humor. He will drag rugs around the house and play with them but once again, never hurts anything. Go figure. My husband and two daughters have been training him. He can now sit, walk with a Gentle Leader, shake and stay (getting there). He loves to chase his tail. The baby pool is his favorite and he always walks through it to get anywhere. If the hose or sprinkler is on then Jack has his mouth right in there. Definitely a water dog!
