Welcome to RAGOM Rocky!!!

Let me introduce to you the most beautiful 13 yr old gentlemen.  He is always by my side, looking up at me with his adorable face, sweetest soul, saying pet and love me some more...Rocky enjoys the simple things in life.  Warm bed, leisure walks around the neighborhood and some XOXOX's.

Rocky has always been a outside dog his whole life, so he has had to adjust to some big lifestyle changes.  But I think he is welcoming these changes because he walks around following me from room to room with his tail wagging and smiling. He is an absolute love bug and has aged to perfection!!!

Rock has been very busy since he has been with me.  He arrived the day before Thanksgiving and has been very busy since his arrival. He stopped in to the vet to introduce himself, had a physical, then was swept off to the spa for some TLC.  Let me tell you he came out looking and smelling like a new man.  The ladies there said he was the perfect gentlemen.

He was the perfect host for Thanksgiving. He laid very patiently around the table waiting for food that "accidentally" fell off of the plates, then helped himself to some Bailey's Irish cream that was left on the coffee table. Rocky went to bed that night smiling with a full and content belly:0).

He loves kids as he came from a house with them, and also some neighbor kids that adored him as well. He wanted to also thank Sue for helping out on looking after him and his sister and wanted to wish her a very "Merry Christmas".

Still not sure how Rock would be around cats as I do not have any, but he is doing pretty good around my 3 dogs.  He has butted heads with one several times, but he is getting better.

Rocky does have some hip/knee concerns, and has been put on pain meds for that.  He is doing so much better since he has been taking them.  When he first came here, he had a very hard time getting up, but now is able to get up on his own. And this is with hardwood floors.

He is scheduled to be "snipped" this week, and at the same time will have some x-rays done to see what exactly is going on with his back end.  He also has started taking some supplements, so that should start to help him out as well.

I will send a update after his surgery on Wednesday.  Keep your paws crossed!!!
