Rain was surrendered to RAGOM by a commercial breeder. While in her RAGOM foster home, Rain was involved in a dog fight incident with the foster's dogs. The trigger for the fight incident is not known, but Rain was moved to our boarding facility following this event. RAGOM volunteers and the boarding staff have gotten to know Rain well and believe she is ready to find her new home. Rain can live with children age 8+. Since we don't know what or who initiated the dog fight, Rain's best interests are served by her being the ony dog in the home. Rain is a talented fence-jumper, so a physical fence is required to keep her safe. Although Rain lived with cats in her original home, she has not been observed with cats while in RAGOM's care. Rain loves being with the humans she knows and is an affectionate dog. Rain is looking for a special home where she can be safe and continue to grow and learn about the world around her.
