Red was surrendered to RAGOM from a commercial breeder who did not want to incur the expenses necessary to care for him. Red was diagnosed with puppy strangles, but is recovering nicely. As with all puppies, he can adapt to a variety of home environments (children or not, other dogs or not, cats or not, fence or not) with the proper upbringing. Prospective adopters must provide a detailed plan for bringing a puppy into their home, including plans for exercise, socialization, obedience, potty and crate training. Puppies are a big commitment, requiring several years of patience and consistent training to become well-mannered, confident family members.
