Sugar

Meet, Sugar-she thinks her name is Good Girl! Sugar is one year old and learning how to be a loved dog. She was taken from a breeder  by the USDA after they shut the breeder down for violations. When she arrived here she was very fearful of everything-especially humans, the TV, going through doors, and anything inside the house. But she has learned so much! While new things are still scary, she will slowly check them out and then they become a nonissue. The laundry basket was very scary when she first saw it but now not at all.

 

Sugar is very healthy, a few pounds under weight and very athletic! She is just now showing puppy behaviors-zoomies, jumping and mouthing. She never had a chance to be a puppy before! But she is learning what's OK and what isn't. She absolutely loves my dogs and every dog she meets. They help her feel safe and learn about the world, So we are looking for a family that has another dog to help her continue to feel safe and secure.
