Nilla is a wonderful 14 month old golden retriever who came into RAGOM after being seized by the USDA from a commercial breeder. She has such a smart, sweet disposition and has a perfect combination of youthful energy and quiet gentleness.
Nilla is making progress every day in learning how to be a part of home and family. She will need a confident resident dog in her forever home to help continue her education on how to be a family pet, and a physical fence to keep her safe, yet allow her to burn off her energy. Children should be 10+ as she may jump on smaller children knocking them over, and a loving family committed to help further her growth.
Because of her background, she's still skittish, unsure with new people and new situations but is making progress.
