8/10/05: Abby is a beautiful lighter colored, spayed, 70 lb. female. She rode well in the car to her foster home. Abby is well behaved and has good manners in the house, yet she has plenty of energy and enjoys chasing her ball and playing with the kids. She is trained for an invisible fence. Abby is fully house trained and does well with run of the house while her foster parents are at work. Abby has not chewed on or gotten into anything inappropriate. She has apparently crated well in the past and accepts being limited to a room. Abby is a typical Golden in that she likes to greet people with enthusiasm. She does well around kids but can accidently knock them over in her enthusiasm. Although Abby is used to sleeping in her own room, she promptly hopped up on the bed and laid down nicely for the night. More to come as we get to know this wonderful Golden.
