Profile
Bill is fostered in Aitkin, MN. Bill is about 2 years old and very, very handsome. He has been in a shelter for about 3 weeks in the Detroit Lakes area. He was a stray. Why? Who knows. That is the thing about strays, we don't know the name, how they are with children or dogs or if they lived indoors or out. And we are guessing on his age. We do know he had no tags, or was microchipped.
Bill has been with us for a couple days now and we are finding out more and more about him. He is a sweet dog. He gets along great with our Golden, and is scared of the cats (and the cats are taking advantage of that!). He is starting to get used to the name "Bill".
Bill definitely needs to see the groomer. He did get a bath and I brushed him, but his winter undercoat is so thick. He has not had any accidents in the house, so he may have been a house dog. He is very afraid of our fireplace tools. He is starting to walk by them, but very quickly.
I have not seen any aggression at all from him. He is just a nice, nice dog. He did really good last night. Just slept on the dog bed, next to ours. Bill has a vet appointment on Tuesday. The shelter got him UTD on his immunizations, but he needs to be microchipped and get his HW meds. He is neutered.
So I will keep you updated on this guy as we get to know him better.
