Hi everyone, my name is Bodie and I am so happy to announce that I am safe and sound from recently being rescued from a puppy mill in North Dakota. I am learning that it's GREAT to be a RAGOM dog:-)
I arrived at my temporary foster home this past Sunday and I was very scared and sad to leave my girlfriend Lexi and my pups, Maddie and Toni. To my surprise, my temporary foster home has two beautiful golden girls. I was so happy to meet my NEW girlfriends Jayden and Maggie! I think they like me too because they give me kisses on my head. I met them with no problem although when I spend too much time sniffing their butts, they let me know and I quickly stop at their request because I'm such a gentleman. I didn't know what toys were when I first got here but I found out that I really like them. I am even playing tug with the girls! See, I told you they like me!!
I weighed in at 74 pounds and I'm all up to date with vaccinations and the doctors LOVE my curly coat. Although my heartworm test came back negative, my fecal tested positive for roundworms so I have to take some medicine that will clear them up. I also have a yeast infection in both ears so FM has to put drops in them each day. Other than that I'm doing great, health-wise. I had an operation last Thursday so FM says I won't be fathering anymore kids. I am in my new foster home and I like all of the dogs here. They play with me and I like to run out in the snow. Inside, I follow FM around wherever she goes. She says I will need a forever home with another big dog and no kids under 10. I am skittish and I would just hide in a corner. I need a physical fence too so I don't run off if I get spooked by something.
Please think about adopting me - be sure to read my next update.
