10/6/06: Buster is here and settling in just fine. This guy is an older gentleman, but he really has a lot of spunk left in him. This gentleman is 11 years old and is sweet as pie. Buster was well loved by his former family. They had him since he was about 8 weeks old. Their life has changed and they wanted to make sure that this wonderful fella would be well taken care of. So here he is - Buster is now a RAGOM dog.

Buster rode great in the car on the way home - he paced a little but then conked out and took a nap most of the way. He met his new foster brother Larry and went for a walk around the yard, before comeing in the house. I think that Buster sniffed and peeked into every nook and cranny that he could find. He also got to meet his foster sisters (the CATS). Buster was not interested in them at all. He took a sniff and walked away. Later this evening he walked up to one cat, put his nose up to hers and gave her a little lick. I think that the cat might of had a heart attack. Right now Buster is sleeping soundly at my feet.

Buster is a BIG boy, he weighs around 100 lbs. According to his former family he has recently lost about 25 lbs. But I have to admit, even at 100 lbs. he looks pretty good. He is very friendly guy, loves to be brushed. He is such a sweet boy. Please don't let this guy get away. Buster may be an elderly fella but you would never know it. He is pretty feisty running and playing with Larry.
