Miss Casey was adopted in 2009 to a special family that recently made the difficult and emotional decision to surrender her. The family lost their jobs and the economy forced them to move to a place that doesn't allow dogs. Casey was cherished. Their decision was best for her and RAGOM will see that she gets the best family again. Thank you Kim & Karen for transporting her back to her previous foster home.
Casey had her mandatory vet check, and other than needing to lose some lbs, she is in perfect condition. Eyes, ears, heart, everything is wonderful. We'll get the heartworm and fecal test results back tomorrow. She was current on everything else.
She is moving to another foster home because our current RAGOM foster and resident dogs need our time and attention. It's hard saying "good bye" again, and I'd take her back in a heartbeat. It was great seeing her again....all grown up with a long coat and beautiful feathers. Casey is still sweet and fun. She loves fetch, belly rubs and car rides. And she LOVES to run. Yes, Casey is still near perfect. In the short 3 days with us, we fell in love with her again. Bless you sweet girl. Your forever family is waiting for you.

Casey is a PB 6-yr-old golden. As mentioned above, Casey needs to shed a few pounds. (Her foster dad calls her "full-figured"!) She does love to play ball, so she should be losing that weight little by little as we walk, run and play together. She is a very loving, sweet girl who only took a couple of days to fit into the routine of our home. Casey is well behaved and gentle. She sleeps quietly throughout the night in our bedroom on a dog bed. Casey does exhibit some protective behavior. She barks excessively when someone comes into the house or when a door slams (inside or out). This may be part her adjusting to our home. We will monitor that and lovingly correct her into better behavior. She will kennel when needed - if there are treats involved.
Casey will be at the Chuck and Don's Meet & Greet in Blaine this Saturday, 11/17. Come and meet this sweet girl!
