Although Chevy had been well loved and cared for, his owner could no longer keep him so Chevy was surrendered to a shelter who then contacted RAGOM. Chevy is taking Trazadone to help control his panting and coughing, possibly caused by Laryngeal Paralysis, known to occur in older Golden Retrievers. Chevy gets along with other dogs and children; however, due to his size children in his home should be age 10 or older. His history with cats is unknown. He will need a fenced yard for his safety.
