Profile
Cheyenne is a beautiful 7 year old male purebred Golden with a nice heritage who was owned from puppyhood by a couple whose change in job circumstances required his surrender. He was well taken care of, has always been up to date with his medical care and has that "love me, pet me, I'm your friend forever" personality.
His coat is a thick, red-golden color and, while he is a "big" boy, he has already lost a few pounds playing here at the lake with his foster sisters and now that we have nice weather back, some swimming is in order, too!
He was neutered on Monday and is healing nicely. This teddy bear of a boy is loving, has manners, doesn't get up on furniture, is very housebroken and has absolutely no aggression. In fact, when my Scotty, Lily, greeted him with her usual exuberant "yip, yip, yip, yip" full speed charge - he retreated to the bathroom and got in the bathtub! When I went in to "rescue" him and reintroduce them, he just looked at me with a "what the heck was that, Mom?" expression!
He is ready to find his forever home. He is good with other dogs, kids, is playful and has lots of great Golden years left, needs to continue on Innova dog food as he has mild, controlled allergies and will need his food intake monitored. He really is a perfect gentleman Golden.
