Profile

Clark came to RAGOM from a breeder and is now learning about the Golden Life. He will need a home with a medium to large, confident resident dog for guidance as he learns about life as a family dog. Because he gets excited when greeting people and could knock over smaller children, kids in his forever home should be at least 8 years old. He hasn’t been tested with cats but he doesn’t seem to have a prey drive. A physical fence is optional as long as Clark's family has a plan to keep him safe.

To understand why RAGOM will adhere to our requirements for Clark regarding children and another dog, please read about Retired Breeding Dogs.

Clark is settling into our home very nicely and interacts with our resident dog Riley with backyard play and on walks. He is very friendly and loves all people. He enjoys tennis balls and playing with dog toys, chewing on sticks in the yard, and his daily walks.

Clark has trained very quickly and easily. He knows the commands “sit” and “lay down,” and he knows his name and comes when called. He had a clean vet check and no health issues.

Typical of a former breeder dog, Clark looks to our resident dog for guidance and will need a home with a medium to large, confident resident dog who likes to play. He will also need family members who are active and able to walk him two times a day.

Although he doesn't jump on people, Clark gets very excited when he greets people, his tail moves very quickly, and he could knock someone small down. So children in his forever home should be at least 8 years old.

Clark loves to run in our fenced yard, but a physical fence is optional as long as his forever family has a plan to keep him safe when outdoors and he gets plenty of exercise.
