On Feb 19, 2011, Coach came into RAGOM.  After a transport of nearly 9 hours, this lovable, hug-able dog became my newest best friend and foster.  Until a wonderful GS took him in, he had no home, no food, except what he could pick up along the way, for over 3 months.  Coach is a survivor!  His fur was matted with things that smelled really bad, but after several baths and brushing after brushing, a Golden prince emerged.

Coach is about 10, neutered, wormed, up-to-date on vaccinations.  As a protective foster, I was a bit hesitant introducing him to the resident male...the resident girls accept without question.  The boys tried to ignore each other for about, oh maybe, 5 minutes.  They sleep together, as seen in the picture, walk side by side on leash, chase each other and live in complete harmony. Has free roam, and is house-trained.

Somewhere in his past, Coach was loved, trained with a gentle hand, and introduced to everyone and everything with kindness.  He is a joy to walk, a joy to feed, a joy to cuddle with, a joy for dogs, cats and humans to meet, and a joy to foster.  The first night he slept in a crate.  Like a clock, every 2 hours he wanted to go outside.  He needed reassurance that he had a home.  The crate was put away and now he sleeps all night.  He does have a few quirks...like sleeping on his back.  If one of the residents comes near his food, he backs up, sits and waits.  Let's add patience to his description.

Once his bio goes public, Coach will be in GReat demand.
