| March 21, 2010 Dear Ragom, My mother-in-law adopted Dawson from Ragom on June 8, 1997. She moved out a year or two later and left the house and Dawson to my husband, whom I met in 2001. I knew I liked this guy when he kissed his dog on the lips. He was worth taking a second look at if he could love a dog so much. Dawson became my dog as well in 2002. My mother, my sisters, and my nieces all love Dawson so much. He is easily the most loved member of our family. Dawson was about 3 years old when he was adopted and believed to be a Golden and Samoyed mix (looks a lot like Gilda on your website). We love him utterly. Our sweet dog passed away on Wednesday. We are completely heartbroken. Dawson was the best dog ever, a far better dog than we were ever people. We are not ready for a new dog, and are a little afraid to get one that is in his teens due to the grief that we are experiencing, but we love goldens and the work of Ragom. So we will be watching your site for our next pet, and are considering becoming foster parents. Thanks for everything, Nicole |
