Didi 05-046

Profile

Didi is a 3 year old female rescued from a puppy mill. She was no longer useful to them because her litters were too big and made too much work for her breeder. RAGOM was called to rescue Didi and 2 of her mill-mates, who will now have a chance to live long lives as happy, warm, well fed, & loved members of some very lucky families. Didi is 62 pounds & on the petite side. She just got all her shots & microchip, and will be spayed on Tuesday. I heard stories about dogs that come from puppy mills, and luckily, Didi fits none of them. She is very outgoing & friendly, she loves to play with toys & bones, she is very gentle with my children (ages 3, 5, 8) and gets along well with the dogs here. She walks well in a harness & wasn't too fond of the Gentle Leader we tried (but what dog is at first?). Didi seems to enjoy stealing stuffed animals from the kids and hiding them in her kennel. Luckily, she doesn't chew on them at all. Typical Golden...

I have a favorite poem and it goes, "Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure." Didi is indeed a treasure!
