Profile

02/12/07: Introducing Grace, or as we?ve been calling her, Gracie. She is quite adorable. At a scant 32 lbs.(full grown!) she is quite small next to my resident goldens!! I?m definitely not used to tripping over a dog!

Here?s what we know about Gracie. She is from Missouri and was rescued by the same kind lady that rescued the last group of dogs for us. Gracie, along with 6 other dogs, were abandoned in a trailer. They were left in the cold with no food or water. Thank goodness their guardian angel came along and rescued them. Gracie is the only one that RAGOM took?the others went to other rescue groups in Minnesota. What?s her heritage? Well, how about golden-mix??!! If you are the lucky one to adopt her, you can make up her heritage for her! She is full grown at a whopping 32 lbs and she is cute as a bug. As you can see in her pictures, she doesn?t have a tail. It?s a bonus!!! No tail to clear the table tops at your house! As for her personality, she is so far very sweet and quiet. She met my goldens with no big deal. They all sniffed each other and everyone is doing fine. She is not completely potty trained, but I think that will come fast. How?s her health? Right now, she is not feeling top of the world. Her nose is completely clogged up and she coughs. The vet says she has an upper respiratory infection (bad cold). She is on antibiotics and we need to make sure she doesn?t develop pneumonia. I will have her rechecked at the vet later this week. She?s had her shots, been spayed and now microchipped. As we get to know our little girl, I will send an update later this week. Once she is feeling better, she?ll be ready for her new forever home!
