Profile

Greta is a very sweet 8-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. She came to us yesterday from a family that could no longer give her the time and attention she deserves. Greta met our 2 resident dogs and Sam 08-457 without any problems. She does not seem to mind the cats. Even though Greta is 8 years old, she has some spunk and does not act like a senior girl.

Greta is house-trained and lived with young children. Greta attended obedience class as a puppy and she does listen very well. She is a "chow hound" and does counter surf. We will be working on that with her so she knows to leave anything on the counters alone. I took all four dogs for a walk this morning and she really loved that. She walks out at a good pace and does great with a Gentle Leader.

I will be taking Greta for a checkup sometime this week. I will update more as we get to know Greta better.
