This little cutie is in intensive care at the University of Minnesota ICU trying to survive a likely case of Parvo (not yet confirmed by testing). He is under 24 hour care, and is receiving IV fluids and antibiotics in an attempt to stave off the dehydration and infection that could kill him. Born into horrible conditions in a North Dakota puppy mill, and taken away from his mom before he was weaned or developmentally ready, Hank and his sibs have relied on the helping hands of RAGOM volunteers to get this far. Named after the husband of one of RAGOM’s founders, Jane Nygaard, Hank is all heart (ok… all heart with a little fur and some puppy breath thrown in).

Who doesn’t like a handy-man special, right? If your family is into fixer-uppers, then maybe Hank is your guy… This boy will need some TLC and a family who can teach him how a dog should live – in the moment, with a full belly, a chance to explore his surroundings safely, and some awesome scratching hands attached to a loving person that is all his own!

Hank’s care at the U, along with that of his siblings Kitra and Ali (we miss you!), will cost thousands of dollars. Even a small donation in Hank’s name will help RAGOM continue to give these special kids a chance to overcome a rough start and have the life they deserve!
