Hannah 12-356 is a female pure bred Golden, approximately 7 years old and she is a real sweetheart! She's about 65 pounds and has that beautiful white face that seniors get. She was rescued about a year ago so not much is known about her early life. She did spend the last year in a rural area and enjoyed free roam of the property before coming to RAGOM.
As I said before, Hannah is a real sweetheart, very gentle, and just loves to hang around her people and snuggle up with them. Of all the foster dogs we have had, Hannah has been one of the best. It took her about 10-15 minutes to adjust to her foster home upon arrival, a new record. She bonded with our resident golden girl, another senior about Hannah's age, and the two of them are already best buddies. She enjoys walking on the leash, no pulling at all, chasing tennis balls and going for a ride in the car. Her trip to the vet, which she seemed to enjoy, showed she was in good health except for a couple of teeth. They were infected and the Vet had to pull them. Hannah recovered quickly and she still has plenty of teeth left for picking up tennis balls.
Hannah makes funny noises when she is happy or playing. It is kind of a combination between a sigh and a soft howl and it's really cute.
Hannah would do great in a house with adults and older children. We don't believe she's been around young kids but like any senior she may not like all the activity of smaller kids. If you would like to have Hannah share her remaining years with you, please contact your placement advisor. Hannah is one of the best behaved dogs I've seen and is a real gem.
