How is this for a typical Golden? Gorgeous!
This is Holly and she is back in RAGOM due to job changes in the surrendering family and not enough time for her. I just got her this morning so most of what I know is from the temporary foster who had her for the last week. The temp foster is a friend of the surrendering family and said Holly is back by no fault of her own. If it didn't work out with this dog, it won't work out with any dog; Holly is that perfect.
Holly was found as a stray and she moved around a lot in the last year. This girl needs her forever home to live her life out in a golden way and we are going to make sure she finds it.
Holly is AWESOME with children and must go to a family with kids. The temporary foster has a three year old son that Holly loved. She was very gentle and laid vigil next to his bed when he was sick with the flu.
The temp foster let Holly have free roam of the house while she was at work. I intend to so the same. Her original page said she needs a family that is not gone a lot during the day but I don't think that is the case anymore. I will keep you posted on that.
Holly would be best as a only dog or with another dog that is not interested in playing. I have Maddie Patti 09-009 who is so excited to have a playmate but Holly is not crazy about the idea.
Holly is the typical golden, my blond little shadow, snout nudging my arm as I type, tennis ball always near by, head resting on my lap whenever given the chance.
This dog is a gem. If you have kids and you want them to have a best-fur buddy ever, contact [email protected].
