Profile

We have decided to adopt our foster, Jack.

Jack came into RAGOM in early January from a loving family, who didn't have the time for him and decided he needed more space to run beyond their townhouse. He has been a great foster, quickly meeting our other dogs. He is calming down and had some excess energy to burn off. Tyson, 14-348 is helping Jack to get plenty of exercise. They are buds when outside. Jack enjoys chewing on toys and bouncing from one couch to the other to get some more attention. He is of the jealous variety, which is typical in the goldens.

We went to the vet and he checked out as very healthy. This is important to us, as we lost our last RAGOM boy, Change 12-021, 3 months ago to kidney failure before he turned 6. We miss him, as does resident dog, Tyson. Jack and Tyson have been good buds this week, playing tug of rope and keep away with all the toys.

Jack will be a RAGOM dog and volunteer for the rest of his life. He will get to help on-board future rescue dogs, so they can know the good life after rescue.
