Jaxon is a beautiful darker red Golden. He has a very blocky head and is a big boy. You would never know that this boy just turned seven as he has the energy of a 2 year old!

Jaxon is housebroken and learning his manners about putting his nose on the table. He knows his name and has good recall if a squirrel is not involved. Jaxon likes being outside, going for walks and going on car rides.

This video shows off Jaxon’s personality a little bit.

Jaxon is up to date on his vaccinations and was neutered on December 5. He eats about a cup and a half of dry kibble for breakfast and for dinner. He also gets Dasaquin with MSM once a day and probiotics three times a week.

Jaxon is learning to play with toys (supervised only with stuffies) and loves chewing on antlers from time to time. He likes to be brushed and ear cleaning is no problem. Kristi, our groomer at Stone Mountain says that he did very well for his bath. Jaxon and his buddy Henry 18-162TD got the full spa treatment!

Jaxon is a retired commercial breeding dog, so he needs to have another large confident dog in his new family. Also, no children under 10 years of age. A fenced-in yard would be preferable. Plenty of play time and cuddles are a must. Please let us know if you would like Jaxon to be a part of your life.

Closed to Applications: Many families have submitted applications for Jaxon or he is working with an applicant for a potential adoption. We are no longer accepting applications for Jaxon.
