We'd like to introduce you to this cute little girl named Jetta. She was born on June 7th and she is an 8 week old golden retriever mix. Her mom was a purebred Golden Retriever and dad was 1/2 Golden Retriever and 1/2 Newfoundland mix......she obviously gets her stunning good looks from her daddy! She came to RAGOM as the result of an unwanted litter.  Jetta weighs 11 pounds and has had her first visit to the vet. She is currently taking medication to treat worms which are common in puppies.

Jetta is a typical fun-loving puppy! She LOVES to play. She likes her squeaky toys, tug of war rope and Nyla bone.  She is teething so she will try to chew on slippers, rugs, or just about anything but she is easily redirected to her puppy chew toys. She plays hard for about an hour and then crashes for a quick nap. We are working with Jetta on potty training. She is learning to go to the door when she needs to potty and has had only a couple of accidents in the house. We watch her closely for signs and take her outside right away when we think she needs to go potty.

She is being trained to sleep in a crate at night and when we are away from home.  During the day, she has free roam of the kitchen/family room area that is gated from the rest of the house.
