Joey came to Robbinsdale this weekend. He is a "Golden on the inside" boy. As you can see from the pictures, Joey is mostly black with a couple of white marks on his neck and chest. He weighs 56 pounds, is about 9 years old and is a WONDERFUL GUY! He was reluctantly given up by a very loving owner whose work required him to be gone long hours every day. I know that it was a very hard thing for him to do and it was a great act of love. Joey is gentle, sensitive, smart and loving. He has had significant obedience training as is very responsive to me.

I took him to the vet on Saturday and he got a glowing report. He is in great shape and now is up to date on his shots. I should hear back on heartworm test tomorrow.

Yesterday he was a big hit at the nursing home when we visited my mother. He got lots of petting and everyone commented on how soft his coat is. I will have a great deal to say about this sweet guy, so stay tuned to his page. This gentleman will make a fantastic dog for some lucky family. Maybe yours?
