Kiwi is a beautiful 6 year old dark red spayed female. She has lived with 5 kids and a small dog and gets along fine with my cat and golden. She was surrendered because the family does not have enough time or room for her. They would like her to have a family where she will get lots of attention and exercise. She is probably about 10 pounds overweight. She likes chew bones and playing with golf balls. She is adjusting well and slept by our bed all night without a sound. Owners said she does not have any fears but likes to be inside if it is very windy. Kiwi has been left in the house up to 9 hours with no problems. She loves going for rides and hanging her head out the window. A short time ago she went to the lake for the first time and seemed to enjoy it but she's not really used to swimming yet. Getting petted is her favorite thing and she will put a paw on your lap to remind you that she's there and waiting for attention. So far she has been very quiet and we were told she usually only barks when their other dog does. She was last to the vet about 3-4 years ago so we will get her in for shots etc. this week.
