I picked up Kody from the vet clinic today on my way home from work...he settled down in the back of my suv like a pro. He's had a traumatic couple of days. His loving family was forced by circumstances beyond their control to rehome him. They dropped him at the clinic on Tuesday night...he was brought up to date on his shots, neutered, microchipped, had his teeth cleaned and his ears flushed. Poor guy! He is 4 years old, weighs 81 pounds and is too lean, he needs to gain a few pounds. He's much taller than either of my Goldens (and my young guy measures 24 inches at the shoulder). He is a beautiful dark red with a finer coat than many Goldens...more field Golden than show Golden. He met my crew like a champ. He has met my 2 Goldens, my cat and my recently rescued bunny and has done just fine....he's a super nice dog. He is housebroken and lived with kids in his previous life. He came from a home that loved him and it shows...his only problem is ear infections in both ears which we will work to clear up over the next few days.Kody and Lilly BunnyLucky and Kody
