5/23/06: Hey everyone,

Meet Leo, "Mr. Attitude". A whole hunkin' 32 pounds of sheer joy and bouncy puppy. He is a 6 month old Golden Retriever/Lab mix. He has the classic head of a Lab and the body and coat of a Retriever, soft, long and starting to feather on his legs and tail. Mr. Big Shot is due to be neutered on Thursday and brought up to date on his shots. He still has some issues with potty training, but so far has gone all night and all day without incident when baby gated in my kitchen. It's just when he has free roaming capabilities that he gets sneaky and slips into another room.

He is a beautiful dog and his disposition is all Golden. He loves to play and run and be goofy. But, he is very willing to lay down and rest quietly when you are. He is very social and easy going with people, kids, dogs and ...get this! He even likes cats. What's not to love? He came from a shelter in SD and had a bout of kennel cough when he got here, but he is on antibiotics now and it is clearing up. He fit into our household of kids, cat and resident dog easily with no hitches. He truly is a wonderful loving dog. (Although he might fight you for the couch). Sorry my pictures don't really capture his playful side, he wasn't cooperating when I needed his best angle.
