| From Major's forever family... I just wanted you to know that a wonderful Golden I adopted from you 11 years ago had to be put down yesterday. Major was his name and he came to us in January of 1999. He was (we think) about a year old. He was the perfect Golden to help us through our sad time after we lost out first Golden to cancer. My girls and I moved to Illinois in February of 2001 after a very sad divorce. Major came with us and was our constant companion. I walked him everyday (when the temp was above 15) and so he was well known in our neighborhood. I am still a single mom and his loss has left a major void in our life. He was so well trained and loved that I don't think I can ever have another dog. I just wanted to say what a wonderful organization you have and that RAGOM gave me one of the best gifts ever...the unconditional love of a Golden Retriever. |
