My name is Mickey. I came from Fargo yesterday and I was really scared. I'm still a little scared. This is my 4th home and I am only 2.5 years old. My other families didn't have time for me. I think they wanted me to hunt and I learned many commands. All foster mom has to do is whisper a command and I do it immediately. I don't like loud noises and I'm pretty sure that harmful rays are coming from the microwave so I hide behind the couch when it's on.
I am a girl and I can't have any babies so that is good. I'm smaller than the other Golden Retrievers in this house. I only weigh 58 pounds but Dr. V said I could gain a few. Otherwise, she said I am healthy. I was very good while she poked me and stuck me with things at the vet today. But I wouldn't take a treat from her when she was done!
I am living with 4 other dogs and yesterday I was a little overwhelmed to meet them all. I feel safe in my crate so I stayed in there. But one of the other dogs got us all up at 4:30 am to go outside so we all went. Then when foster mom came back in the bedroom I was up on the bed with 2 of the other dogs. So I got to sleep with all the other dogs! They aren't so scary! When we all got up again, I started playing with Breanna 08-324. I like her the best of all the dogs! We had so much fun wrestling and chasing each other!
Oh yeah--I don't like the camera pointed at me either so all of FM's pictures are from far away. Maybe in a few days I will be OK with it but everything is really new now so I am not sure. FM says I'm a beautiful little, young Golden Retriever so if you think you might want to give me a FOREVER home this time send an email. FM said she is going to make sure I stick with a family this time.
