10/1/05: Hi All Dog Lovers, Lucy came to us from a home who rescued this stray. This wonderful family kept her until she was placed in a foster home. They fell in love with her, but Lucy was very obsessed with one of their cats. Not to hurt the cat, but loved it and wouldn't leave it alone. Understandably, the cat didn't like it! So let's just say that a home without a cat would be best.

Lucy is around 5 years old, 92 pounds, light red, with a beautiful coat. She is now UTD, HW negative, free of allergeries, and no hot spots but will be spayed and have her teeth cleaned in October. A picture of health, especially considering that she was a stray. The vet wants her to lose about 7 pounds. Lucy has a stocky, short build with huge paws and is big boned.

Lucy loves people and carries her "baby" or tennis ball around everywhere. She loves car rides, going on walks, having her tummy rubbed and a hand to hold. What can I say, but this is the sweetest dog and she is number 11 for us. Our 11 year old Lab/Retriever mix finally found a dog who is as calm as she is!
