Monty 05-030

Profile

Meet Monty!! He is a very special and lucky little guy. Right after he came into RAGOM, it was discovered that he had parvo virus. This is an intestinal virus that usually kills puppies. Luckily for Monty, RAGOM found out and got him the care he needed right away. He was quarantined (poor guy) and given meds and now he is as good as new!!

Monty has the cutest green eyes and white spots. He is absolutely adorable!! He is also a very affectionate little guy to both humans and our two canines. He and our own RAGOM dog, Miesha, could play all day!

Monty continues to be the best puppy ever! He has not had an accident since long before the last update! He loves to snuggle (mostly early in the morning). As soon as he knows I am awake he runs up to my face to give me a kiss, then sort of rolls into my arms for some cuddle time! He knows the command sit very well, and will not steal food off your plate even if you are eating on the couch and he is sitting right next to you! (Something that happens a lot in this house!)

Monty went to the vet this last week to get updated on his vaccines and weighed in at 24.9 lbs! He was so little when we first got him – he’s growing like a weed! He did have a little allergic reaction, and we narrowed it down to a few possibilities we are further investigating. Currently he has no problems!

It seems Monty’s only fear is moving vehicles. He thinks that by flattening himself to the ground every time he sees one, they won’t notice him. Every walk we go on, though, he gets better! He really is the sweetest, cutest, most adorable little guy in the world. Please email placement@ragom.org if you think this little guy is for you!

Monty is doing great! He is a very easy puppy! He doesn’t chew on cords or anything like that, he has gone over a week without an accident in the house, he sleeps on the bed all night without problems, he goes in his kennel during the day without toooo many complaints, I could just go on and on!

Monty loves to go on walks and go to the park and play. He has to walk on the other side of the street from my own two girls though, because otherwise we all end up in a tangled mess not moving anywhere! He will curl up in a pile on the floor right on top of my girls when we get back for a nap. He just loves to cuddle.

I can’t think of anything bad or any complaints to say about Monty! He is absolutely the best puppy! Whoever adopts him will get a real sweetheart!
