7/10/05: Moses started his day in Wisconsin, then to Rochester, Pine Island, Minneapolis, and finally St. Cloud. Thank you to Barb and Connie for getting him to Minneapolis for me.

We arrived home and he and Reba hit it right off. Once inside the house he met Sam the cat...he looked at Sam, sniffed, wagged his tail and that was it. Outside we went for brushing, bathing, more brushing, cutting out mats, trimming nails and cleaning out ears. I can't even begin to tell you how nasty his right ear is :( By the time we were done with all of this he was out for the count....fell on the towels in the garage and that was it. Eventually we checked out the back yard and then it was dinner time. I thought he might be a gulper....but I had to feed him a bit from my hand, finally he decided it was ok to eat. No food guarding at all. What a sweet boy he is. He did feel that my daughter should share her pizza....he finally got the hint it wasn't going to happen. Moses went off to explore a bit, found a chew bone, brought it down to the basement by Reba and me, eventually found that under the desk was a great place to hang out, and finally napped yet again.

We are going out to do some brushing now that he's dried off. He is very good natured, but needs some help in the sit, stay, down and walking department....but since he was tied up he hasn't had much chance to hone his skills. He pulled with his collar so put a GL on him and though he doesn't like it, he walks nicer. We will find out if he likes tennis balls or not, as my favorite 5 year old girl from next door is here to check on the new dog :)
