8/22/06: Hi, I'm Nina and I came from an animal shelter in Iowa. I'm 8 months old and really quite a doll. I just arrived at my foster home and am making friends with the resident dogs, Marbles and Holly. Best of all, there are two children that I have already gotten to play with and they even took me for two, yes two walks already. My foster mom says I'm very well-behaved with the Gentle Leader on the walks.

I have a big yard to romp in and I have sniffed out every nook and cranny in my foster house. I like to jump up, but am learning quickly the command "Off!". My foster mom doesn't allow that. Right now I'm laying nicely next to my foster mom while she helps me type up my story.

I had a bath today and was treated with Frontline and given a heartworm pill. Next week to the vet for shots. My foster mom says she got the best pick of the dogs that arrived today - I think so, too.
