Are there any Stephen King fans out there?   If you are a true SK fan you will know that Oy is a character in the Gunslinger or Dark Tower Series.  Oy is a Billy Bumbler and is like a mix between a dog and a raccoon.    Anyway - he was my favorite character so I am predisposed to like this dog OY.  

What we have in Oy is a diamond in the Ruff...  He is a young dog who needs a lot of leadership.  Oy is looking for a forever home with a family that has another young dog who likes to play and who has confidence, no small children, preferably a fenced in back yard, and people who will spend a lot of time working with him.   He needs a lot of obedience training to build up his confidence.  He is a unique combination of young dog energy (he needs a lot of exercise and maybe even a job to do like agility or fly ball) and some insecurity.   He is fearful of storms, people in hats, strangers, and small children.    All of this can be overcome with some work on building his confidence by doing obedience training and by giving him good boundaries. 

I really like this dog.  He is beautiful, loving, sweet, and he has the softest fur of any dog I have ever met.   He looks all Golden, but he is mixed with Brittany Spaniel.   He is a beautiful blond color and has white paws.  He really could not be any more cute!

If you are the kind of person who will enjoy doing a lot of training and exercising with your dog, please let placement know.  Oy is looking for a perfect home.   He is only 8 to 10 months old and he has already had at least 2 families.   If you are the right family, think of this as your lucky day
