Hi, my name is Peyton. I am an 8 week old yellow fluff bundle of love. My foster family just adores me. My foster mom can't believe what an outgoing puppy I am for being only eight weeks old. Especially, given that I have had a rather unfortunate start to life. My fur mama was a Golden Retriever that was hit by a car when I was only five weeks old. I was really sad when that happened.

They say my fur father was a yellow lab. He wasn't able to take care of my siblings and I, but fortunately my two brothers and I were taken in by RAGOM. We stayed together until we were eight weeks old and now we are each in our own foster homes, and looking for our forever homes.

I am enjoying my new foster home. I have two two-legged siblings that love to play with me. My human three year old sibling can't seem to pronounce my name correctly though - he likes to call me "Paint". Seriously, do I look anything like paint to you? My seven year old sibling loves to show me off around the neighborhood to all the kids. I enjoy that a lot. They are really fun to run around with, although it would be nice if it warmed up a bit, so I could stay outside longer.

My foster parents think I am do very well with my potty training. I whine at the door most of the time if I need to do my thing. I do still have accidents, but hey, I'm a baby and I get preoccupied with all the excitement around the house, my chew toys and oh yeah, my fur foster sister. She's eight and thinks she's the boss of me. I am so cute that she can think what she wants, I just wiggle my tail and that usually gets me my way with the 'rents.

So here's what my typical day looks like around here. I wake the whole family up around seven, eat some breakfast, do that potty thing, and that play/nap/potty again and repeat cycle at 1 pm and 7 pm. I usually call it a night around 11 pm. I have been getting up every other night or so once during the night to go potty. Sometimes I wake my foster mom up because I just want to play, I don't understand why she is not up for that at 3 am. Anyway, I am learning to go back to sleep right away, as I am realizing that they like to play when the sun is up. I have had a couple of nights where I slept through the night. I think my foster mom liked that a lot.

This week, I'll go to the vet to talk about my spay and update my vaccinations from a couple of weeks ago. I also need to talk to the vet about my itty bitty hernia on my tummy. The vet I saw a couple of weeks ago said it's no big deal and they could easily repair it when I have my spay done. They say I'll be as good as new. I just won't have a little everted looking belly button on my tummy anymore.

After I am spayed and have my hernia repair, I'll be ready to go to my forever home. If you think you could make me happy, and love me forever, please contact your placement advisor. I promise I won't disappoint. I am a really happy, smart, outgoing, lovable little girl.

Here are a few pics of my first few days at my permanent foster home, 'cause I know you all want to see my cuteness for yourself!

This first one is of me on my first day at my new foster home. I look a bit shy, but I am really not, I just didn't know what the flashing machine was doing in my face all the time.

I am chewing on a treat in this second one. Mmmm, yum.

In this third shot, I got the treat stuck in my teeth and my foster mom thought that I looked like I was saying, "What's up doc"?

In this pic I am was sitting at the computer with my foster dad. He thought I was helping, but really I could care less about those things.

Here's a pic of me with my fur foster sister, Ella. We were both taking a much needed rest on the couch.

Here's me napping again, ugh, it's so exhausting being eight weeks old.

I get so tired from playing. Here I am outside trying to figure out what's at the bottom of all that white stuff.

And here's my action shot...look at me jump!

Here's my final pic for this update. My foster mom thought it would be fun to show how little I am right now compared to my fur sister.
