Meet Regan! She is an almost 5-year-old Golden who has the softest coat and the sweetest face. She is a retired commercial breeder girl who is bright, inquisitive, and curious about her new world. She has left her breeding days behind and is ready for a life of ear scratches and naps. She will need a medium to large confident resident dog to learn from and a fenced yard to keep her safe. She is easily startled by sudden noises and even more so by sudden movements, so she'll need a home with children 13 years old or older. She has not been tested around cats but does very well with dogs. Regan is not a good candidate for apartment living because she is not comfortable walking and pottying on leash. She will need a patient family who is willing to give her all the time she needs to come out of her shell and learn about all the good that life has to offer!
