Rudy is a 6 year old neutered male who was surrendered to RAGOM due to health problems of his owner. He is very friendly and will cry if he isn't getting enough attention. He has a few pounds to lose and has not been getting regular exercise. Rudy is not on any medications and has no known health problems. He has an appointment at the vet. on Monday. We will update you on his visit.
He is kind of short with a gold coat and a fluffy tail that curls over his back just like a Samoyed. He follows us around and pushes doors open with his head so he can be with us. He gets along well with Sunny and granddog, Riley. Yesterday Riley was running around the yard in the deep snow and Rudy was trying to follow him. Rudy's legs are probably half as long as Riley's so he was getting stuck and would have to back up to get out. He tries to chase the rabbits in the yard but he is way too slow for them. At night he wanders around a bit sometimes sleeping in our room and sometimes going downstairs to sleep.
He only barks when Sunny barks or when we come home and he gets very excited. We have only left him for a few hours but he had free roam and did fine. His owner said he is crate trained but we have not used one for him. He likes chewing on bones and tennis balls and will even chase the balls when we throw them. We will be taking him to the vet next week for microchipping and updating shots.
