I am very happy to welcome Sassie into RAGOM's family. He has made himself very comfortable on both my couch and my bed in the short time he's been here... what better way to keep warm on these cold winter nights! Sassie is an 18 month old male who we acquired from another rescue group, and originally came from a breeder in Iowa who didn't have time to care for him. He has been living outside, and is very starved for some love & friendship. He gets along well with other dogs, has not been around cats to our knowledge, and seems good with my young children (3, 5). He seems very afraid, he often cowers and crouches down when I reach to pet him, so I'm doing it ALOT to show him how loved he is and can be - forever. He has a beautiful deep red coat that is very thick & wavy all over. Please watch for another update in a couple of days after I've had some more time to get to know Sassie better.
