10/13/06: Friday the 13th is actually Scooder's lucky day. He has finally been sprung from doggie jail where he's been waiting since 8/24. Scooder was found as a stray and was being held for a while to see if someone would claim him and no one did...if you ask me, the previous owners were crazy not to claim him!
Scooder is a gorgeous red head with the beginning of grey in his face. Scooder is neutered and about 4 years old. Don't know much else about this handsome guy other then he is ready to start his forever life with you. Come meet him at the PetCo event this Saturday in Richfield. Scooder will probably be there closer to 12:00, as he needs to make a stop at the vet office first.
By the way, the pictures are pre-grooming...if you know my grooming skills you know that he will look goofy like someone slapped a bowl on his head. If you find that appealing, then I would be happy to demonstrate...if not, you'd adopt him quickly!
What I know about Scooder in the short time that he has been here is that he is a sweetie, will cower to the floor if you try to hold his collar, he's nervous but happy, and if you try to take his picture, he acts like a pup and wants his nose up to the lens.
Strays are my favorite foster dogs because they know they have been rescued and tend to be the best dogs ever. Strays need to use their charm to survive and will bond very closely to the one that rescues them and gives them the love they deserve. Stray's hearts are the biggest and you will never regret giving one a home. Did you know strays are angels in disguise, sent to heal a broken heart? They are very special.
