Shane

6/18/06: Shane is a 6 year-old purebred Golden Retriever. He loves people, other dogs and gets along well with cats. I am not sure how much Shane weighs, but he is a very big boy. He is a little overweight due to very little exercise, so we will be working on that. Shane is housebroken, seems to listen well, even though he hasn't had much obedience training, and just needs some attention. He loves to follow you around and lay by you, wherever you are. Right now, he is quite stressed out, with leaving his home yesterday. Hopefully he will get more comfortable here soon.

Shane will be going to the vet on Monday to get up to date on all of his vaccinations and have a good check up. He does have a large hot spot on one of his back legs, so we will be getting that looked at too. Shane needs to be neutered so we will get that scheduled as soon as we get all of his other things taken care of.

I will get some better pictures of Shane later and send in more information after our vet visit tomorrow.
