Profile

1/9/05: Princess Tia-Maria is the sweetest little girl with just a dash of devil in her. She is very good and we have had 0 accidents in our house. I'm committed to the 5 minute rule..you have 5 minutes after they eat, drink, play to get them outside. Princess Tia-Maria is the bravest pup that I have ever fostered. When I let her out she runs and goes potty or plays. Most of the other pups would sit at the door and whine for me. She is very adventurous but she won't go too far without checking to see where you are. She has a great appetite, I swear she eats her weight in food.

We are working fast and hard to teach her all the bad habits we can like sleeping in bed, how to take a full mouth of water and walk away from the bowl, and how to be tennis ball obsessed. Tia is the bravest little girl - nothing slows her down. She is even trying to get the big dogs to play with her?it's the cutest thing ever, she bounces around like a bunny. Tia will pick up a rawhide that is longer than she is and about 2 inches around and run around the yard with it. I have heard her bark twice while playing. Once she was biting me so I said Ouch really loud and she thought I was barking at her so she did a high pitch bark back at me?I love the girls with sass.

Tia loves to cuddle. At bed-time last night I kept her awake for about 1.5 hours before we went to sleep, which was hard but when we went to bed she snuggled up really close. Then she moved to cuddle up by my face and then she was on my face. She loves to cuddle and feel you breathe on her?it's the only thing I can come up with..or she is trying to suffocate me. I only got up once during the night but I don't think it was her waking me, it's my guys.

She is an awesome pup, I have no complaints with her. I just love holding her and kissing her. So far her socialization has included women, men, kids, cats, lots of dogs, etc. She likes the cats because they are closer to her size but the cats aren't too sure about her yet. She wants to play with the big dogs but they are afraid of hurting her so they tend to leave her alone. Oakley was sharing his tennis balls with her, she will chase the ball, pick it up and then she will let him take it again. Oakley tosses it in the air and she chases it. Goldens are so smart, I just love watching Oakley be the big brother, it's so cute.
