Trey was surrendered to RAGOM by a Good Samaritan who saved him from euthanasia due to a deformed leg. The Good Samaritan reached out to RAGOM for help and Trey was welcomed into the family to get the treatment he required. Trey's pelvis was broken and his back right leg was injured and because he did not receive immediate treatment when he was injured, his leg had to be amputated - however, he is now running about on 3 legs and healing well. As with all puppies, he can adapt to a variety of home environments (children or not, other dogs or not, cats or not, fence or not) with the proper upbringing. Puppies are a long-term commitment requiring several years of patience and consistent training to become well-mannered, confident family members.
