11/2/05: Vinnie, whom we call Willie, arrived at our foster home last night. Like his other sister and brother, Winston and ZuZu, he is very scared and shy. They were all rescued from a breeder/puppy mill and are ready for the good life!!

We introduced him to the resident dog and he just hid in the corner. We cuddled him for a few hours and introduced him to the back yard, instructing him this is where he goes potty!!

He visited the Vet and everything looks pretty good. No worms or fleas! He does have giarddia (have no idea how to spell it), which he is taking medication for. He?s pretty skinny, only 16 lbs., so we will be trying to fatten him up a bit.

Last night he slept in his crate and did great. No whining or crying. This morning he went outside with the other dog and went potty?yeah!! He actually followed my dog around the yard a bit, before scurrying back to my side. We look forward to getting to know this little guy---he seems very sweet. I think we will see huge improvements very shortly!
